Brakeworld enhances Autocat+ data using Automate Online

We are pleased to announce we are now using the MAM Automate Online and Make Model Index to ensure best quality data is available to our customers using MAM Autocat+.

“By adopting the Automate Online system, which directly interfaces with MAM’s Autocat+ catalogue, we now have a number of additional facilities and features at our disposal,” said Nigel Harvey, Director at Brakeworld. “This will enhance the catalogue experience for the motor factor and retailer and is a positive step in line with our policy to continuously improve the completeness and data accuracy of our catalogue data.”

Automate Online allows Brakeworld to make its own amendments to new and existing catalogue data in order to promote accuracy and reduce data latency. It will also allow it to enhance customer service by being able to automatically receive data queries made through a customer’s Autocat+ system.

Furthermore, products uploaded to Autocat+ via Automate Online are mapped against MAM’s MMI, a comprehensive database of UK-specific vehicles. This has helped Brakeworld achieve MMI Certified Supplier status, instilling customer confidence in its data.

“We are delighted that Brakeworld has recognised the benefits that Automate Online has to offer,” said Tony Mason, Senior Sales Manager at MAM Software. “Accurate data means less catalogue errors and fewer returns for factors and retailers. This increases customer confidence, which can result in increased sales. By achieving MMI Certified Supplier status, customers can be assured that parts ordered from Brakeworld are highly likely to be right first time.”
